The USGv6 Testing Program was officially started November 30, 2009.  However, it wasn't until the US Federal Government issued the following FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) that this testing program was officially made a requirement for non-DoD agencies to follow.  By July 1, 2010 all agencies must accept only IPv6 products tested under this program by accredited labs.
