Harris Corporation Patient Portal Achieves 2014 Edition ONC Health IT Certification

Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, announced today its Patient Portal version 5.1.2 received 2014 Edition Modular Ambulatory and Inpatient EHR ONC HIT Certifications. This milestone designates that Harris Healthcare’s Patient Portal is capable of supporting healthcare providers with Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Use (MU) measures required for health systems to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Harris Healthcare’s Patient Portal was certified by ICSA Labs, an Office of the National Coordinator-Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) in accordance with the certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
