November 15th, 2013

November 15, 2013 - Woodbridge, NJ - iPatientCare, Inc., a pioneer in mHealth and cloud-based ambulatory EHR and integrated Practice Management solutions announced today that the company’s EHR solution, iPatientCare EHR 2014 (2.0) has received 2014 Edition Ambulatory Complete EHR certification by ICSA Labs, an Office of the National Coordinator-Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB), in accordance with the applicable eligible professional certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). The ONC 2014 Edition criteria support both Stage 1 and 2 Meaningful Use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

iPatientCare is one of the early achievers of 2014 Edition Complete EHR certification – an elaborate process that required the company’s EHR software to successfully pass hundreds of rigorous and detailed test steps demonstrating capabilities to support Meaningful Use Stage 2 measures. Meaningful Use Stage 2 changes include higher thresholds of utilization compared to Stage 1, expanded Clinical Quality Measures (CQMs), and new data exchange requirements. New iPatientCare enhancements will improve communication of clinical information for providers serving the healthcare industry.
