Testing Characteristics

What Does ICSA Labs Need to Test Your SD-WAN Solution?

To perform testing, ICSA Labs needs to deploy at least three (3) SD-WAN edge devices in our test lab.  These may be physical or virtual devices (though physical is preferred).  Customers submitting an SD-WAN solution for testing will also need to provide ICSA Labs any orchestrator-like, administrative component.  If the SD-WAN solution developer wants certification (if/when attained) to extend to all its SD-WAN edge component models then please deliver more than one kind/size of SD-WAN edge component model to ICSA Labs for testing.  Note that each kind/size of model would have to run the same software and only differ in terms of characteristics like throughput, memory, CPU and ports.

For SD-WAN Developers that Partner with Security Vendors

ICSA Labs allows for the possibility that components of the SD-WAN solution may have been developed by different companies.  For example, the SD-WAN vendor may partner with one or more security vendors to provide increased security capabilities for their SD-WAN solution.  In such cases, the SD-WAN developer that registered for testing with ICSA Lab is responsible for meeting all of the testing requirements and for coordinating any repairs with any third-party developer company(ies), if and as necessary, in the event that ICSA Labs identifies shortcomings during testing.
