Testing

ICSA Labs is ISO 17025 accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program as a Health IT Test Lab (NVLAP Lab Code:200697-0), and is an Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) recognized Accredited Testing Laboratory (ATL).

In the ONC Health IT Certification Program, testing and certification activities are performed by distinct and separate entities within ICSA Labs. Testing is completed by the ICSA Labs testing team, with those results independently evaluated by the ICSA Labs Certification Body for the purpose of certification.

ICSA Labs uses ONC-approved test methods to evaluate health IT systems for conformance to the certification criteria and standards required by the federal government. There are two ONC Health IT Certification programs: the 2014 Edition and the 2015 Edition.

You may enroll today for the 2014 Edition program, which will allow users of the certified system to apply for Stage 2 CMS EHR Incentives.

ICSA Labs has launched the ONC Health IT Certification program for the 2015 Edition criteria. Contact us for more information!

Testing is performed by qualified analysts that are part of the ICSA Labs Accredited Testing Laboratory (ATL). More information on the National Voluntary Lab Accreditation Program (NVLAP) HIT Laboratory Accreditation Program can be found at www.nist.gov/nvlap.

Test results from ICSA Labs, or another NVLAP Accredited Testing Lab, are used by the ICSA Labs ONC-Authorized Certification Body to grant product certification. Once the product is certified by ICSA Labs, the information is submitted to ONC, and the product will be listed on the Certified Health IT Product List (CHPL).
